Please report any damage within 24 hours of the appointment via our service portal in the “File a damage claim” section. Our damage department will then check your case and get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Mobile app user? Keep your app version up to date. This will allow you to take full advantage of the new functions. Simply follow the instructions in your app or the app store.

Select the date of your appointment with your cleaner and answer the following questions during the process:

  • Exact description of the damaged item
  • State the approximate cost of the damage (in euros)
  • Describe how the damage occurred

Please add detailed photos of the damaged object.

Additionally, we need the original invoice for the damaged item or, in the case of a repair, a cost estimate. Please note: If you do not have the invoice or cost estimate available, you can submit it later. In this case, our damage department will contact you.

If a customer claims damage caused by the service provider's activities, Helpling will report the damage to the liability insurance company. This covers damages of 500 euros or more.

Damage under 500 euros and the first 500 euros of a larger claim are deductible, so this must be settled by the service provider himself or his own insurance. In this case, you can of course always contact the service provider directly to agree on an appropriate compensation. The contact details can be found on the invoice you received for the cleaning.
